Crime Scene

挪威爵士吉他手，爵士音樂家Terje Rypdal是當(dāng)代歐洲爵士的重要代表人物，是北歐爵士的明星之一；更被譽(yù)為吉他之神。他的演奏，把New Age音樂、搖滾和爵士樂的各種元素糅合在一起，創(chuàng)造出自己獨(dú)特的風(fēng)格。

1947年Rypdal出生于挪威奧斯陸的一個(gè)音樂世家。5歲起學(xué)習(xí)古典鋼琴。后又拜入奧斯陸大學(xué) George Russell門下學(xué)習(xí)作曲。而他的吉他演奏是自學(xué)成才的。其中Jimi Hendrix 對(duì)他影響最深。Rypdal個(gè)人喜好廣且雜，不單單迷戀諸如馬勒、格里格、貝多芬、斯托克豪森等古典/當(dāng)代音樂家；包括Jimi Hendrix、John McLaughlin、 Sex Pistols、Prince在內(nèi)的一批流行樂手對(duì)其創(chuàng)作的影響亦顯而易見。

自72年代開始，Terje Rypdal開始展開了他與歐洲爵士樂重要廠牌ECM的合作，至今在該廠牌出版了超過20張專輯。Rypdal熱衷于嘗試各類元素的融合，在爵士、先鋒、新世紀(jì)音樂等領(lǐng)域均有建樹。更同Bobo Stenson、Palle Mikkelborg、 Miroslav Vitous、Jack DeJohnette和David Darling等大師級(jí)人物屢有合作。

這張專輯《Crime Scene》為2009年5月于卑爾根(挪威西南部港市)Natjazz爵士節(jié)的現(xiàn)場(chǎng)錄音，《Crime Scene》為Terje Rypdal的ECM唱片目錄增添了一顆強(qiáng)大而又令人興奮的砝碼。盡管這位挪威吉他演奏家/制作人經(jīng)常給小型樂隊(duì)、樂團(tuán)等作曲，但和爵士大樂隊(duì)聯(lián)手合作還很少見。
