　　因《指環(huán)王三部曲》而獲得格萊美和奧斯卡獎的電影配樂大師Howard Shore之前似乎更加偏好于為心理驚悚風(fēng)格的電影配樂，像他的代表作——獲得英國影藝學(xué)院最佳電影音樂獎提名作《沉默的羔羊》，（以及《入侵腦細(xì)胞》(the Cell)、《赤裸午餐》(Naked Lunch)、《顫栗空間》(Panic Room)、《游戲》(the Game)等等），其中的配樂對于戲劇的張力和心理描寫極具表現(xiàn)力，壓抑的氛圍往往通過音樂中凝重的情感傳遞出來，特別是關(guān)于女主角Starling（Jodie Foster）的部分（也是電影配樂的中心），非常的感人。
